Alana Allan (née Murray)

Alana is the Head of Operations at Anthony Harper, where she is responsible for leading the Information Technology, Administration support, and Finance teams. She also works on the ideation and execution of the firm’s strategic initiatives.

Alana is especially concerned with ensuring that the functions are collaborative, customer-centric, fit for purpose, and innovative by fostering a value-creation culture. She brings with her expertise across Finance, Change Management, Project Management and Operations.

Prior to Anthony Harper, Alana spent 6+ years at another top tier law firm where she helped lead the firm through a period of significant change, spearheading a range of critical strategic initiatives and development projects.

Previously, Alana was a Consultant at Deloitte where she focused on providing advice to a range of SME’s and private clients.

Alana is passionate about contributing to society, with a special emphasis on not for profit governance. She has held a number of board positions including roles with the RSA, Pregnancy Help, CAANZ and Dunedin Budget Advisory.
