Tamara specialises in retirement villages and the health sector, including aged care.
Having worked closely with clients across these sectors since 2013, both in-house and in private practice, Tamara understands the unique pressures these sectors face. With sound knowledge of the legislation, regulations and key Government contracts affecting these sectors, Tamara helps her clients navigate everything from day-to-day operations and compliance to complex and sensitive issues. She has particular expertise in matters relating to capacity and applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988.
Tamara works predominantly with retirement village operators and aged care providers on all matters affecting their businesses. Tamara prepares and updates clients’ occupation right agreements, disclosure statements, admission agreements and policies. She guides her clients through responding to complaints, including to the Health and Disability Commissioner. Clients appreciate Tamara’s responsive approach, calling with small queries which can often be answered immediately.
