Anthony Harper is delighted to announce the appointment of Kathryn McKinney as a partner in our employment practice. Kathryn has over twenty years’ employment law experience gained at top-tier firms in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Kathryn’s expertise covers the employment aspects of large scale mergers and acquisitions, advice on employment disputes and Holidays Act compliance, as well as executive employment remuneration and high value terminations and exit settlements.

Kathryn supports partner Jackie Behrnes in Christchurch.

“Anthony Harper has been recognised as one of the fastest growing law firms for a number of years. We have been fortunate to recruit some of New Zealand’s best and brightest legal practitioners and Kathryn is no exception. Her expertise in employment law adds considerable strength to our nationwide practice,” said Malcolm Hurley, Managing Partner at Anthony Harper.

Kathryn adds, “Anthony Harper has been a firm that I have admired for some time. It has a rich history and an established presence and yet has also adapted to meet the needs of the Auckland market. The firm has shown real commitment to building its workplace law practice area, with the growth of the immigration and health and safety teams in recent years too. We also have fantastic clients who provide us with interesting and challenging work.  I am delighted to be joining the partnership.”
