- Richard Idoine
Specialising in civil litigation, Richard works with corporate and private clients on a wide range of commercial disputes of varying levels of complexity.
Richard is an experienced courtroom advocate, having appeared as counsel in the District Court, High Court, and Supreme Court, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums such as mediation.
Richard focuses on general civil litigation but has noteworthy experience in commercial disputes involving insolvency, property, construction, trusts, and company law dimensions.
Prior to coming to Anthony Harper, Richard was in-house counsel for one of New Zealand’s largest universities, where his role saw him working closely with the board. He gained valuable experience advising a large quasi-public institution in respect of its complex regulatory environment, in addition to the traditional risks and challenges that most corporations face on a day-to-day basis.
